Open then the We the PCOS app and tap, ‘Log Nutrition.’

You will come to a page with a few options. With the monthly program, you will not be tied to a nutrition plan, so select, ‘Custom Nutrition Plan.’ Once there is a checkmark next to this item, click, ‘Next.’

You will come to a page where you see Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Beneath each category, you can add food. Choose on of the meals and click, ‘Add Food / Drink’ below it.

On the next page you will have 3 options – Search, Custom, and Selected. You will almost always be using, ‘Search.’

WTP Foods: If you want to log a We the PCOS recipe, type in the name of the recipe or a partial name and click, ‘Return’ on the keypad. Next you’ll want to scroll all the way down to the end of the list. This is where you’ll find all the pre-programmed We the PCOS recipes. Tap on the meal that you had. The nutrition information is already set up to show 1 serving, so ignore the area where you can adjust Servings. It’s already correct. It will say 1 gram / 1 serving. Ignore it. Just click Save.

Non-WTP Foods: For all other foods, use the Search setting and type in what you ate followed by tapping, return, on the keypad. Look through the list of results and find the item that is exactly or the closest to what you ate. Tap the item. When you’re searching for non-WTP foods, you will need to adjust the serving size. For example, if you searched EGG, you will need to choose what size egg — jumbo, XL, L, M. Once you select the exact item, then you’ll select your serving size. So if you had 3 XL eggs, you’d select 1 extra large egg and then 3 as the number of servings. Then tap Save.

You will be taken bak to the Search page so you can continue searching and adding items for the meal you chose, ex. Breakfast. When you’re done adding items, tap the back arrow <

The items you added should appear under the meal you selected. Scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see 2 buttons — Save Log / View Macros. So, if you want t see how many calories and how much protein you’ve had for the day, go ahead and tap View Macros. To return from this screen, simply click the top of the page where the date is.

It’s very important to Save Log. If you don’t, you will lose all the logging you just did. Once you click, Save Log, you’ll be taken back to your main Hub.
